Kalena Gadoury
Being
on stage is not a new concept for Kalena. She has been performing
in many ways since she was just a year old! From pageants to dance
recitals, band to chorus concerts, high school theatre to community
theatre, and even the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, she has done
it all! She is truly blessed to have been born with the “attention”
gene and to have a wonderful group of supporters!
Kalena is happy to be back on the stage with Patuxent
Playhouse! She previously appeared as “Tansy” in their showing of
The Nerd! Kalena has been enjoying her love of the theatre for
the last 12 years, appearing in many shows on many stages. Some of
her favorite roles include “Tansy” in The Nerd, “Kate” in
Bedroom Farce, “Charlene” in Key Lime Pie, and “Venus” in
A Skewed Nude. Other than being on stage, Kalena has enjoyed
many other aspects of the theatre: Managing Front of House and Box
Office, Directing, Producing, Stage Managing, and serving as
Committee Chair and a member of the Board of Directors. Kalena
wishes to thank her overly-supportive family (that travel to see her
shows), her loving friends, and her amazing boyfriend. “Without
your support, I couldn’t and wouldn’t be doing what I do! Thank
you, I love you all!”
